The show was something of a weekly video newsletter for the Samsung sales representatives at T-Mobile to keep them up to date with the current phone models and features, as well as sales tips for finding the right device for customers.
The show ran for over three years within which time we produced over 150 episodes.
What began as mainly motion graphics and voice over in the heart of the pandemic eventually became tightly paced episodes featuring an on-camera host and custom b-roll cut together with clips from the official Samsung YouTube channel. I was the sole editor on the show and had the opportunity to shoot the host content and custom b-roll in the last year or two of it’s run.
The weekly nature of the show meant that it was very important to have refined systems and workflows to edit quickly and efficiently, as well as find ways to balance familiarity and freshness of style to maintain interest.
